Your donation to Research at St. Joe\u2019s helps to fund studies to better understand illness and disease, evaluate how new medicines work, and find ways to slow disease progression or prevent it from starting in the first place. In essence, your gift creates unstoppable impact as it helps more than 700 researchers and staff to make new discoveries that give our patients new hope.<\/strong><\/p>

Last year, thanks to donations from our community of supporters, our Foundation granted more than $3 million to The Research Institute of St. Joe\u2019s Hamilton<\/strong>. Those funds fuelled 25 research studies, projects or clinical trials across 31 research areas. We also supported young researchers with fellowships, too. From clinical and basic science research in prostate, kidney and lung cancer care to looking at novel strategies to support people living with obsessive compulsive disorder, our clinician scientists are committed to discovering new ways to diagnose, treat, and slow the progression of illness and disease.<\/p>
